Catts boutique, located in the heart of avalon beach shopping centre, is an exclusive store specialising in the latest european fashion trends. Marilyn says "i'm so happy when the customer walks out looking slimmer than when they walked in". And colour is the essence that makes the difference to someones appearance and attitude. We work slowly with our customers to find the perfect outfit to complement their body shape and personality. Clients say "it's like stepping into a gallery" - with clothes from europe they source on their bi-annual trips to europe. Catts boutique provides its loyal and ever growing clientele with a unique shopping experience, once you step inside the store you are taken on a journey of wonderful colours, interesting and unusual garments and artistic accessories you will not have seen anywhere. Now they work side by side in the business from buying, merchandising and working in store and together, they are a formidable team in the ever changing world of fashion. Marilyn's daughter heidi, who has a keen eye for fashion and colour, joined the business in 2008 leaving her career in television production and graphic design. So marilyn decided to search the world for unusual clothing that flattered different body shapes, and together with her stylist knowledge catts creative designs began. Her passion has always been sourcing beautiful, interesting fabrics and well-tailored clothing. Marilyn has been at the forefront of fashion her whole life, starting her career as fashion coordinator for grace bros (now myer). Catts creative designs, known as catts boutique was established by marilyn catts in 1983 and is one of the longest standing boutiques on sydney's northern beaches. At catts boutique we strive for quality over quantity, unique rather than popular, colour over black.
